CIRRUS

You run outside and are very excited because it's the weekend and you want to play with your friends. You look up into a sunny, blue sky and see white, delicate, streaky clouds! There's no need for an umbrella. Those are cirrus clouds and it's going to be a beautiful day!

Cirrus Clouds thin and wispy. The most common form of high-level clouds are thin and often wispy cirrus clouds. Typically found at heights greater than 20,000 feet, cirrus clouds are composed of ice crystals that originate from the freezing of supercooled water droplets.
